New Asia Forum Targets $30 Billion in Investment for Region at Inaugural Bali Event
The New Asia Forum, a new global investment platform, will launch in Bali, Indonesia, on December 3-4, aiming to mobilize $30 billion in investments for the "New Asia" region.

A new global platform for investment, capital formation, and economic partnership, the New Asia Forum, is set to launch in Bali, Indonesia, on December 3-4. The inaugural event aims to attract $30 billion in investments for the "New Asia" region, connecting long-term capital with opportunities expected to shape the continent over the next decade.
The forum, backed by Danantara Indonesia (Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund) and organized by Richard Attias & Associates, intends to serve as a gateway to Asia. It seeks to link capital providers with projects, partnerships, and policymakers capable of executing investment visions.
The Asia-Pacific region currently accounts for nearly 60% of global economic growth (IMF, 2025). However, the New Asia Forum aims to address a perceived gap in attracting sufficient long-term international capital relative to the region's potential.
Focusing on transaction readiness and capital deployment, the forum will facilitate commitments across eight strategic sectors. These include strategic resources and downstreaming, energy, mobility and advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure and AI, food and agribusiness, trade and connectivity, tourism and creative industries, and education and human capital.
