New Asia Forum Targets $30 Billion in Investment for Region
A new global investment platform, the New Asia Forum, will launch in Bali on December 3-4, aiming to attract $30 billion in capital for the region.

The New Asia Forum, a new global platform for investment, capital formation, and economic partnership, is set to launch in Bali, Indonesia, from December 3-4. The inaugural event aims to attract $30 billion in investments for what it terms "New Asia," intending to connect long-term capital with opportunities shaping the region's next decade.
Supported by Danantara Indonesia, the nation's sovereign wealth fund, and produced by Richard Attias & Associates, the forum seeks to become a global gateway to New Asia. It aims to link long-term capital with projects and policymakers capable of investing in forward-thinking initiatives. This initiative addresses the imbalance where the Asia-Pacific region, while driving nearly 60% of global economic growth, attracts a smaller share of international long-term capital.
Unlike traditional conferences, the New Asia Forum emphasizes transaction readiness, capital deployment, and implementation. The $30 billion target will be pursued through a curated portfolio of ready-to-fund opportunities across eight strategic sectors: strategic resources, energy, mobility, digital infrastructure, agribusiness, trade, tourism, and human capital.
Rosan Roeslani, CEO of Danantara Indonesia and Indonesia's Investment Minister, highlighted the forum's role in bridging international capital with regional opportunities. Richard Attias, founder of Richard Attias & Associates, noted Asia's shift from a capital destination to a capital generator and director.
