PR Newswire announced today that its ultra-long-acting antibody, HBM9378/WIN378, has achieved positive interim results in a Phase 2 study for asthma treatment. The study, named POLARIS-1, enrolled patients with uncontrolled, moderate-to-severe asthma.
The interim analysis, conducted on the first 98 patients out of 147 enrolled, demonstrated a half-life of up to 75 days. This suggests potential for a twice-yearly dosing regimen, which could significantly improve patient adherence compared to current treatment standards.
