New Business Show Accused of Copying Format
SCN Live, a new digital business news show, faces accusations of copying the format and visual style of the established program TBPN.

SCN Live, a new digital business news show hosted by Sammi Cohen and Alaina Hartley, has been accused of copying the format and visual design of the popular program TBPN. The allegations were made by tech entrepreneur John Palmer, who is credited with TBPN's branding.
Palmer posted side-by-side comparisons on social media, highlighting similarities in font, background, and overall aesthetic between the two shows. He described the alleged copying as "shameless." Other social media users have also commented on the perceived resemblances.
SCN Live launched on October 6. In response to the accusations, Cohen stated that TBPN has built "something great" and that SCN Live has acknowledged this publicly from the start. Cohen also co-runs the business and culture platform Social Currency.
The controversy raises questions about originality and competition within the digital media landscape as new programs seek to capture audience attention. TBPN has been a notable program in the business news space.
