China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has published its latest list of vehicles qualifying for purchase tax exemptions. The 32nd batch of the "Catalog of New Energy Vehicles Exempt from Vehicle Purchase Tax" features several anticipated new energy models across various powertrain types.

Included in the list is BYD's flagship sedan, the "Dahan," designated as the first D-segment sedan for its Dynasty series. Previously leaked, the model carries the internal codename "Series 9." The Dahan will be offered in both fully electric and plug-in hybrid variants.

The "Fang S" series, Fangchengbao's first sedan lineup, also appears on the catalog as a fully electric vehicle. These models are projected to launch in the third quarter of 2026, with estimated prices ranging from 260,000 to 320,000 yuan.

Inclusion in this official catalog signifies that these vehicles are eligible for government purchase tax reductions, a crucial factor for consumer adoption in China's competitive EV market. The MIIT catalog is a key step before vehicles can be officially sold.
