BMW China has announced that the new generation BMW iX3 electric vehicle will begin a national roadshow across multiple cities starting October 16. Some BMW dealerships will also exhibit the vehicle concurrently.

The roadshow, themed "BMW New Generation City Experience Station," will visit cities including Changchun, Shijiazhuang, Hohhot, Beijing, Handan, Jinan, Taiyuan, Qingdao, Dalian, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen. Local consumers will have the opportunity to experience the technology and design of the new generation iX3.

Public information indicates the long-wheelbase version of the new generation BMW iX3 is built on the all-new Neue Klasse electric platform, with a wheelbase of 3005 mm, an increase of 108 mm compared to the international standard-wheelbase model. The vehicle measures 4885 x 1895 x 1635mm and features a 3D illuminated grille and integrated "Digital Angel Wings" headlights. The iconic Hofmeister kink has evolved into the "Mirror Halo" design.

The model is based on an 800-volt high-voltage architecture and equipped with sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology, utilizing a 108.7 kWh battery pack. It offers a CLTC range exceeding 900 kilometers, with charging from 10% to 80% taking 21 minutes.
