Specifications for Honor's upcoming WIN 2 series devices and WIN Pad tablet have been leaked. The devices reportedly feature large batteries and high refresh rate displays.
New details have emerged regarding Honor's upcoming WIN 2 series devices, codenamed Barrett, according to Chinese publication IT之家. The series is expected to include three distinct models that have recently received regulatory filings.
Leaked information indicates that the devices will be available in multiple color options and equipped with substantial cooling solutions, including large fans and extensive vapor chambers. Notably, engineering prototypes are said to feature a significant 12,000mAh battery capacity.
In addition to the WIN 2 series, Honor is also preparing to launch the WIN Pad, a compact tablet. This device is slated to feature an 8.4-inch OLED display with a high refresh rate of 240Hz. It will also incorporate active cooling and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, with color options including black and silver.
The anticipated launch for both the Honor WIN 2 series and the WIN Pad tablet is set for October. This timeline aligns with previous reports and is supported by the recent network access filings for three Honor devices, identified by model numbers BRT-AN00, BRM-AN00, and BRS-AN00, which are believed to be part of the WIN 2 lineup.
