The broadcasting contribution service for ARD, ZDF and Deutschlandradio has introduced a new online feature allowing contributors to check their account balance. The service is available at www.rundfunkbeitrag.de/kontostand.
Individuals paying the contribution for their private residence can use the service to quickly verify if their account is up to date, if there are any outstanding payments, or if there has been an overpayment. Upcoming payment dates are also displayed.
To access the balance information, users need their nine-digit contribution number and the date of birth of the account holder. No prior registration is required, and the service can be used free of charge at any time.
This new online tool is available to all individuals responsible for paying the broadcasting contribution for their private homes, aiming to provide a straightforward method for managing and confirming their payment status.
