New Tool Aims to Simplify Google Storage Management
Fast Company introduces Google Storage Cleaner, a service designed to help users manage their Google cloud storage by identifying and removing unnecessary files.

Fast Company has highlighted a new service called Google Storage Cleaner, aimed at helping users manage their Google cloud storage more effectively. The tool scans Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos to identify and delete redundant files, such as large attachments and old documents.
Developed by Yair Levin, the service addresses a common issue where users encounter limitations due to high-resolution photos, videos, and extensive email archives. It aims to provide a cost-effective alternative to Google's paid storage plans.
Levin, with a background in fintech product development, was inspired by the complexities ordinary users face in managing their digital storage. He cited personal experience, including assisting his mother-in-law with her consistently full email inbox.
The Google Storage Cleaner operates as a Chrome extension and requires a one-time payment, with the promise of saving users from recurring monthly fees. The service seeks to simplify storage management for individuals lacking extensive technical expertise.
