News App Provider LokalPlus Files for Insolvency

LokalPlus GmbH & Co. KG, a company based in Lennestadt, Germany, filed for insolvency on December 29, 2015, at the District Court of Siegen. Dr. Ralf Bornemann, a partner at the Bonn-based consultancy firm dhpg, has been appointed as the preliminary insolvency administrator to oversee the proceedings.

In his new capacity, Dr. Bornemann is tasked with auditing the company's financial standing and protecting the interests of creditors. The company's news application, which services the Olpe district, will continue to operate despite the ongoing insolvency process.

Dhpg is a Germany-based firm specializing in auditing, tax consulting, legal advice, and insolvency management. It is a member of the international Nexia network and employs approximately 500 staff members across ten locations.
