Nexans Completes Acquisition of Republic Wire in the U.S.

Cable systems manufacturer Nexans has completed the acquisition of U.S.-based Republic Wire. The transaction materially strengthens Nexans' presence in North America, particularly in the fast-growing U.S. low-voltage cable segment.

The deal supports Nexans' long-term electrification growth strategy and establishes a broader and diversified industrial and commercial platform in North America. It increases Nexans' exposure to structural growth drivers, including infrastructure modernization and data center expansion.

Nexans is a global leader in cables and cabling solutions. The company manufactures cables for various applications, including power transmission, telecommunications, and industrial uses.

Republic Wire specializes in the production of low-voltage copper and aluminum conductors in the United States, serving a wide range of industrial and commercial construction projects.
