Nexans nine-month sales reach €4.9 billion

Nexans posted standard sales of €4,946.7 million for the first nine months of 2026, marking a 3.9% organic growth rate. Performance accelerated significantly in the third quarter, which saw organic growth reach 9.0%.

Growth was primarily driven by the electrification business, which rose by 12.9% overall, bolstered by the integration of recent acquisitions such as Republic Wire in the United States and Electro Cables in Canada. The PWR-Transmission segment remains a cornerstone of the business, with an adjusted backlog of €7.8 billion as of September 30.

CEO Julien Hueber stated that the group is prioritizing capacity expansion in Europe and the U.S. to capitalize on rising demand from data centers and renewable energy projects. Nexans continues to focus on M&A as a key pillar for its long-term growth strategy.

Financial discipline remains central to the group, which recently completed a €500 million bond issuance to refinance debt from its recent U.S. acquisition. The company confirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, projecting an adjusted EBITDA of between €770 million and €840 million.
