Nexans is implementing a new organizational structure for its Executive Committee, effective January 15, 2026, under the leadership of CEO Julien Hueber. The company states that this transformation is intended to scale its operating model through growth and competitiveness, enabling Nexans to better address evolving market challenges and customer expectations.

The reorganized committee will comprise 13 executive members. Its purpose is to foster collective success, streamline industrial operations, and embed a culture of excellence across the group. Key objectives include maximizing Nexans' commercial strength, leveraging industrial performance, driving operational efficiency, and pursuing expansion through mergers and acquisitions.

The committee's composition includes the CEO, along with executives responsible for finance, legal affairs and corporate development, strategy and purchasing, and human resources and ESG. Regional leadership is established for Europe, South America, Middle East and Africa, North America, and APAC. Additionally, there are executives overseeing business and operations functions, specifically PWR-Transmission, Markets and Commercial, and large Data center & Grid & Connect projects.

Nexans positions itself as a global player in electrification and considers this organizational change a strategic move to enhance its business development, competitiveness, and agility. The company aims to leverage its collective strengths and expand into new geographies and market segments.
