Nexans to Host 2025 Innovation Summit in Toronto on Electrification

Nexans, a global manufacturer of cable systems and energy solutions, announced it will host its Innovation Summit 2025 in Toronto, Canada, on October 9, 2025. The event will bring together global leaders in energy, sustainability, and technology to discuss the challenges surrounding the future of electrification.

The summit's theme, "A New Era of Electrification," will focus on expanding grid capacity to meet growing demand while reducing carbon emissions and environmental impact. Key topics will include smart cities, grid modernization, and the role of technology in achieving sustainable growth.

In partnership with Electro Federation Canada (EFC), the France Canada Chamber of Commerce, and Habitat for Humanity Canada, the event will also address Nexans' sustainability goals and its role in shaping North America's electrification future.

Leading up to the summit, the Nexans Innovation Challenge will engage university students in developing solutions for grid modernization and smart cities. A community initiative with Habitat for Humanity Canada is planned post-summit.
