Nexio Expands Technology Partnership with Innovecture

Payments technology company Nexio has expanded its partnership with technology services firm Innovecture by establishing a Global Engineering Center (GEC) in Pune, India. The new center will support Nexio's payments engineering, artificial intelligence initiatives, digital transformation efforts, and global technology operations.

The expanded partnership builds on a two-year collaboration that began as a technology delivery arrangement. The Pune-based GEC will function as an extension of Nexio's U.S. technology organization, integrating engineering talent, payments expertise, and emerging technologies to support Nexio's global platform and operations.

Originally initiated in 2024 to support Nexio's research, technology, and IT engineering needs, the relationship has evolved beyond traditional offshore delivery. The Pune team now plays an integral role in Nexio's ecosystem, contributing to software engineering, quality assurance, and IT operations. The GEC model provides Nexio with a scalable engineering organization in India designed to operate seamlessly with its global teams.

The collaboration aims to accelerate development and modernization by leveraging the complementary strengths of both companies. Nexio offers deep expertise in payments processing and financial technology platforms, while Innovecture brings nearly two decades of experience in software engineering, architecture, AI, and digital transformation. Future efforts will focus on integrating AI into engineering, automation, and technology operations.

Nexio CEO Roy Banks stated the GEC is a natural progression after two years of successful collaboration. Innovecture Founder & CEO Shreyas Kamat highlighted that the partnership combines deep payment domain knowledge with extensive engineering capabilities to build intelligent payment infrastructure across different time zones.
