Nexperia and Tata Electronics Establish Strategic Partnership in India
Nexperia has announced a strategic partnership with Tata Electronics to expand semiconductor manufacturing in India. The collaboration will cover multiple stages of the value chain.
Semiconductor manufacturer Nexperia announced on September 17 a strategic partnership with Tata Electronics. The collaboration aims to cover long-term cooperation across various segments of the semiconductor value chain.
Specifically, Nexperia will leverage Tata Electronics' 300mm wafer fabrication plant in Dholera, Gujarat, for the production of its MOSFET product portfolio. Furthermore, Tata Electronics will handle the assembly and testing of Nexperia's discrete semiconductor products at its facility in Jagiroad, Assam.
The partnership extends beyond manufacturing to encompass broader frameworks for technology development, research, and ecosystem building. This initiative combines Nexperia's expertise in discrete, power, and analog semiconductors with Tata Electronics' growing manufacturing capabilities within India.
