The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) has agreed to a 15-year loan of EUR 184 million (SEK 2 billion) with the City of Stockholm.

The loan will finance investments in drinking water infrastructure, including reservoirs, pipelines, and treatment systems. These upgrades are part of Stockholm's long-term plan to ensure a reliable drinking water supply for its growing population.

The financing supports a portion of the City of Stockholm's long-term "Stockholms Framtida Vatten" (SFV) programme. The programme aims to renovate, expand, and modernise the city's drinking water infrastructure.
