Nigerian software startup Thally has launched, offering a solution to manage product knowledge for software development teams. The company seeks to ensure that documentation, websites, and customer support channels remain consistent as products evolve.
According to founder Ekene Eze, Thally allows teams to create a documentation site and connect their product repositories with customer-facing content archives. When a product change occurs, Thally identifies its impact and automatically updates all connected content. The system generates proposed updates that can be reviewed and approved before publication.
Eze explains that the platform addresses the common issue where product updates, such as changes in authentication flows, can leave outdated instructions elsewhere. Thally also provides its own documentation platform with features like search, custom domains, versioning, and AI assistants.
Thally has been entirely bootstrapped to date. The company released a beta version in August and has now completed its official launch. Thally reports over 100 active workspaces and aims to convert its 14-day free trials into paid subscriptions. Users are located globally, including in the US, Europe, India, the Middle East, and Africa.
