Camera manufacturer Nikon is reportedly preparing to launch its new Nikkor Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S lens by the end of October. Sources indicate that the initial production run for the lens will be limited, potentially leading to extended delivery times. Some retailers have reportedly begun accepting pre-orders.

The lens is rumored to be priced higher than the current Nikkor Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S, which retails in China for 99,999 yuan (approximately $13,700 USD). This new lens is said to feature an integrated 1.4x teleconverter, extending its focal range from 120mm to 420mm.

In parallel with the lens announcement, there are indications that Nikon may release the Z70 camera in November, although this timeline could be subject to change. The camera was previously hinted at on Apple's website in a list of authorized products for Apple ProRes and ProRes RAW licensing, a mention that has since been removed.
