Ninebot has announced that its new Mz3 electric vehicle will be fully unveiled this month, continuing the company's "hardcore" design aesthetic previously seen on the M3 model. Based on visual promotions, the Mz3 is expected to maintain the sharp and robust appearance of the M3.
Official specifications for the Mz3 have not yet been released by the company. However, they have hinted at a refreshed design that will accompany the vehicle's rugged lines.
For context, Ninebot launched the Mz1, an electric bicycle compliant with China's new national standard, in May. It retailed starting at 4,699 yuan (approximately $650 USD). The Mz1 features a new chassis design, high-grip all-weather tires, and a spacious storage design. It is equipped with a 4.3-inch TFT color screen, an intelligent driving system, a powerful 15,000 cd headlight, and adjustable rear shock absorbers.
The Mz1 is powered by a 48V 12Ah lead-acid battery, offering a theoretical range of 45 kilometers. Its 400W motor is speed-limited to 25 km/h, adhering to China's new national standard for electric bicycles.
