Nintendo has confirmed the release date for its upcoming remake, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered, for the Nintendo Switch 2 console. The game is set to launch on November 5, 2026, with pre-orders now available across various territories including North America, Japan, and Hong Kong.

The remastered title features an updated 3D visual style and incorporates modern gameplay mechanics such as manual jumping, dashing, and quick item switching. The game will require 27GB of storage space and is designed for a single-player experience. It will support both Simplified and Traditional Chinese languages.

Pricing for the digital version is set at $59.99 USD in North America, ¥7,980 JPY in Japan, and HK$449 in Hong Kong. A collector's edition, including a physical ocarina, will also be offered.

In addition to the game's release, Nintendo is commemorating the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series with a series of events and merchandise. The Nintendo Museum in Kyoto will feature a "history wall" dedicated to the series, and the "Nintendo Today!" smartphone app will receive new anniversary-themed content.
