Nintendo Direct Showcases Winter Switch 2 Game Lineup
Nintendo will present upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 games during a 45-minute Nintendo Direct broadcast on Wednesday. The presentation will focus on titles scheduled for release this winter.

Nintendo is set to unveil a slate of upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch 2 during a 45-minute Nintendo Direct presentation on Wednesday. The broadcast will highlight titles scheduled for release throughout the winter season.
This follows a separate Zelda-focused showcase held on Tuesday, which announced a November 5 release date for the Switch 2 version of Ocarina of Time. Immediately after the Direct, Nintendo will also air a Treehouse Live stream, expected to last approximately 110 minutes.
With Nintendo's release schedule confirmed through November, including Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave on September 17 and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort on October 22, Wednesday's presentation is anticipated to offer the first significant look at the next wave of games for the console.
While new installments in the Pokémon and Xenoblade franchises are already slated for 2027, the upcoming Direct may reveal further details about future releases.
