For local distribution and after-sales service, Nintendo has partnered with Indonesian conglomerate Salim Group. Indonesia's Deputy Minister for the Creative Economy, Li Ai Ying, expressed support for the initiative, noting that the country is working to provide local game developers with access to Nintendo console development kits.
