NIO delivered 37,408 vehicles in September, a 7.7% year-over-year increase
Chinese electric vehicle maker NIO reported 37,408 vehicle deliveries in September, marking a 7.7% increase compared to the previous year. All three of its brands achieved record deliveries for the first nine months of the year.
Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer NIO announced it delivered 37,408 vehicles in September, representing a 7.7% year-over-year increase. The company released the figures on October 1.
The September deliveries were broken down by brand: NIO brand delivered 21,318 vehicles, up 55.3%; the Onvo brand delivered 8,763 vehicles; and the Firefly brand delivered 7,327 vehicles, up 26.9%.
For the first nine months of 2026, NIO delivered a total of 300,301 vehicles, a 49.2% increase compared to the same period last year. All three brands achieved record deliveries during this period. The NIO brand delivered 181,988 vehicles, a 63.4% increase and a historical high. The Onvo brand delivered 70,191 vehicles, and the Firefly brand delivered 48,122, up 136.7%.
Cumulatively, NIO has delivered 1,297,893 vehicles. The NIO brand surpassed one million cumulative deliveries on September 21, reaching 1,011,597 vehicles delivered to date. The company also highlighted the performance of several models in their respective market segments, including leading positions in the large SUV and premium small car categories.
