Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer NIO has announced the delivery of 140,000 units of its ES8 model. The company stated that this significant delivery figure was reached within 335 days of the vehicle's launch.
The ES8 deliveries marked the vehicle's first anniversary and reached the new milestone on the opening day of the 2026 Chengdu Motor Show. In July 2026, the NIO ES8 led sales charts for both large SUVs and vehicles in the premium segment priced above 400,000 yuan in China.
The NIO ES8, an all-electric SUV, was officially launched in September 2025 and initially offered in six exterior color options. Later, in July 2026, the company also commenced deliveries of a five-seat version of the ES8, focusing on enhanced travel comfort.
