Nio Firefly Electric Car Approaches 70,000 Unit Deliveries
Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio announced its Firefly model is nearing 70,000 unit deliveries. The urban-focused electric car achieved the 60,000 delivery milestone just over a month prior.

Nio, a prominent Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced that its Firefly model is on the cusp of reaching 70,000 deliveries. This significant milestone follows closely on the heels of the car's 60,000-unit delivery mark, which was celebrated just over a month ago.
The Firefly, first delivered in April 2023, is positioned as an accessible electric vehicle designed for urban environments. An updated version of the Firefly was introduced in May 2024, with a purchase price starting at 119,800 Chinese yuan (approximately $16,500 USD).
With dimensions of 4003mm in length, 1781mm in width, and 1557mm in height, the Firefly features a 2615mm wheelbase. It is equipped with a 120kW electric motor. The standard range version includes a 42.1kWh battery pack, offering a driving range of up to 420 kilometers.
Inside, the vehicle boasts a 13.2-inch central infotainment display and a 6-inch digital instrument cluster. The manufacturer has incorporated new driver-assistance features and enhanced interior ambient lighting systems, aiming to position the Firefly beyond basic transportation utility.
