NISHANE, a high perfumery house originating from Istanbul, has established its first New York City boutique. Located at 239 Elizabeth Street in the Nolita neighborhood, the store officially opened on October 1, 2026, following its London opening earlier in the year.
The boutique provides NISHANE with a permanent presence in the United States, aiming to serve a community that values artistic perfumery, craftsmanship, and storytelling. According to the company, the New York location will act as a base for its U.S. operations, allowing direct engagement with clients and serving as a venue for events and deeper market relationships.
NISHANE has experienced significant growth in the U.S. market over recent years, driven by independent retailers and major department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, and Nordstrom online. Founders Mert Güzel and Murat Katran view the New York opening as a crucial next step in the brand's expansion.
The boutique's interior design reflects NISHANE's Istanbul heritage with a contemporary aesthetic, featuring materials like stainless steel and deep green tiles. Each fragrance is presented as an individual piece of art. The store offers the complete NISHANE collection, including its Prestige Extraits line with up to 40 percent concentration, alongside boutique-exclusive items. The space is also intended to host future product launches and campaigns.
