19 October 2026

Nissan Motor Company announced that its sales in the China region fell by 61.6% in September compared to the previous year. The company reported total sales of 23,658 units across its passenger vehicle and light commercial vehicle segments.

The September figures extend a continuous six-month period of year-on-year sales decline for Nissan in China. Dongfeng Nissan, which includes the Nissan, Venucia, and Infiniti brands, sold 18,932 vehicles. The light commercial vehicle segment, Zhengzhou Nissan, contributed 4,726 units to the total.

Towards the end of September, Dongfeng Nissan released its updated N7 model. The vehicle features 33 upgrades, with its introductory version priced at 109,900 yuan (approximately $15,000 USD) under a limited-time promotion.

The automotive market in China remains highly competitive, with manufacturers facing evolving consumer demands and market dynamics that have impacted sales for various brands.
