NIU launches FS Fengchi electric motorcycle in China
NIU has introduced its new FS Fengchi electric motorcycle in the Chinese market. The vehicle is available for a limited time at an introductory price of 4,499 yuan.
Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer NIU officially launched its new FS Fengchi electric motorcycle on September 21. The company is offering the model for a limited-time introductory price of 4,499 yuan (approximately $620).
The FS Fengchi is powered by a 2000W motor and a 72V 35Ah lead-acid battery. It can reach a top speed of 70 km/h and has a claimed range of 89 km under typical riding conditions. The motorcycle is equipped with front and rear suspension and disc brakes on both wheels.
Notable features include a "laser sky roof" headlight design, a standard TFT color screen with navigation, and a traction control system (TCS). It also offers a "master mode" for power adjustment and an increased 33-liter under-seat storage capacity.
NIU is a prominent player in China's electric scooter and motorcycle market. The introduction of the FS Fengchi aims to capture a segment of the growing market for affordable electric two-wheelers.
