Niutech Completes Group Restructuring to Advance Tire and Plastic Chemical Recycling
Niutech Technology Group has finalized its group restructuring, leveraging nearly 40 years of continuous pyrolysis expertise. The company converts waste materials like tires and plastics into valuable recycled resources.
Jinan, China – Niutech Technology Group Co., Ltd. (SSE STAR Market: 688309) completed its group restructuring on August 26, 2026. The move builds on the company's nearly 40 years of experience in industrial continuous pyrolysis.
Using proprietary technology and complete equipment sets, Niutech transforms over 30 material streams, including waste tires and plastics, into stable, high-value recycled resources such as pyrolysis oil and combustible gas. The company is involved in R&D, manufacturing of high-end equipment, industrial project investment, construction, and operation. Niutech has deployed 10,000-tonne-scale projects in countries like Germany, the UK, Korea, Denmark, and Brazil.
Increasing regulatory demand, such as the EU's Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), is driving the need for recycled materials and highlighting the importance of continuous pyrolysis. In response, Niutech has launched its new-generation industrial continuous intelligent pyrolysis line. This new line offers increased processing capacity per unit, improved operational efficiency, better cost control, and enhanced product quality.
For waste tire processing, a single unit can handle over 100 tonnes per day, yielding high-grade carbon black with over 80% toluene transmittance, suitable for tire manufacturing. The plastic recycling line also processes over 100 tonnes per day of various plastics, including low-value municipal waste, ocean plastics, and textiles like PP, PE, PS, ABS, and nylon. The process allows direct cracking without extensive pre-treatment. The output includes pyrolysis oil, solid fuel, and non-condensable gas, with the oil usable as feedstock for new plastics, closing the loop.
The technology is operational internationally. Niutech's subsidiary, Hesheng Environmental Protection, has been operating a continuous tire recycling project in China since 2013 and recently launched a 100,000-tonne Phase II expansion using the new line. A UK customer placed a RMB 198 million order for plastic recycling equipment, affirming Niutech's technological capabilities. The company is also exploring sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production through collaborations with energy majors and in-house R&D.
"The maturity of a technology is best verified through industrial projects," stated the head of Niutech's marketing department. "Our project references in China and overseas are becoming our most persuasive calling card."
