NKT reaffirms strategy and presents capital allocation at Investor Day
NKT hosted its Investor Day 2026 in Karlskrona, Sweden, reaffirming its Charging Forward strategy and presenting capital allocation priorities to support long-term value creation.

On September 29, 2026, NKT held its Investor Day in Karlskrona, Sweden, to reaffirm its "Charging Forward" strategy and outline capital allocation priorities. The company aims to strengthen its position as a pure-play power cable systems provider and generate long-term value globally.
The strategy is built on three pillars: Execute, Excel, and Evolve. NKT has made significant investments in its order backlog and a EUR 2 billion investment program. The company anticipates increased cash generation capabilities in the coming years, which will support its strategic objectives.
"We reaffirm the strategic direction and medium-term ambitions set out with Charging Forward. The fundamentals supporting the electrification of societies remain strong, and NKT is well positioned to create value from its leading market position," said Claes Westerlind, President and CEO of NKT. "The capital allocation priorities presented today provide a clear framework for balancing growth investments, financial strength, and shareholder returns."
NKT also provided an update on the expansion of its Karlskrona facility, which is set to become the world's largest offshore power cable factory. Commercial operation is now expected to commence in Q2 2027, slightly ahead of schedule, to support backlog execution and the company's 2030 financial targets.
