NNIT Acquires SCALES Group to Enhance ERP Services
Danish IT service provider NNIT A/S has acquired SCALES Group, a specialist in Microsoft Dynamics 365 services. The deal positions NNIT as a leading provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 services in Denmark.
Copenhagen, Denmark – NNIT A/S, a provider of IT services and consultancy, announced on May 17, 2017, its acquisition of SCALES Group. SCALES is Denmark's largest independent partner for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (formerly Dynamics AX).
The acquisition strengthens NNIT's market position in ERP services. SCALES employs 113 specialists in Denmark and Norway and will operate as "SCALES, an NNIT Group Company." This move allows NNIT to offer a more comprehensive suite of Microsoft Dynamics 365 services, covering the entire ERP value chain.
NNIT CEO Per Kogut described the acquisition as a rare opportunity to supplement organic growth. SCALES CEO Hasse Bergman highlighted the excellent cultural fit and sees potential for international service expansion.
Industry forecasts predict the ERP services market to grow by approximately 4% annually. Microsoft Dynamics 365 is seeing increasing adoption among medium and large enterprises. By combining SCALES' expertise with NNIT's SAP capabilities, NNIT becomes a leading provider of end-to-end ERP services in Denmark.
