Hello Games is bringing its sprawling sci-fi exploration title No Man's Sky to iOS devices on October 28. The game will be available for both iPhone and iPad users.
According to Hello Games' Sean Murray, the mobile version will feature the complete No Man's Sky experience, including all post-launch updates such as the Voyagers expansion. This contrasts with potential expectations of a scaled-down mobile offering.
The primary differences noted are the omission of multiplayer functionality and unspecified additional features. The game has been optimized to utilize Apple's Metal graphics API.
Originally released in 2016, No Man's Sky has received numerous free updates that have significantly expanded its content and gameplay over the years. The expansion to mobile platforms marks a notable increase in the game's accessibility.
