No Man's Sky to be released on iPhone and iPad
The space exploration game No Man's Sky will be released on October 29 for iPhone and iPad. The game requires at least an iPhone 11 or iPad Air 3.

Hello Games has announced that its space exploration title, No Man's Sky, will soon be available on two new platforms: iPhone and iPad. The game is available for pre-order now and will launch on October 29, expanding its reach to mobile users.
The iOS version has been in development for several years, with the studio citing significant technical challenges in adapting the game for mobile hardware. It will require at least an iPhone 11 or a third-generation iPad Air or newer. The game's procedural generation capabilities will function on these devices, and it will require less than 4 GB of storage.
Similar to the Nintendo Switch release, certain features will be limited due to hardware constraints. For instance, building settlements will require a more recent device like the iPhone 15 (released in 2023) or later, and multiplayer will not be supported. Hello Games plans to support the iOS version based on player numbers and may add features over time.
No Man's Sky originally launched in August 2016 amidst considerable hype, but initially faced criticism for not meeting all developer promises. Despite a rocky start and negative reviews, Hello Games has continuously supported and expanded the game with numerous updates. This mobile release aims to introduce the updated experience to a wider audience.
