Developer Hello Games announced on October 12 that its space exploration title, No Man's Sky, will arrive on Apple's iOS platform on October 28. The game will be available for both iPhone and iPad devices.
Originally launched in 2016 for PC and PlayStation 4, No Man's Sky is an action-adventure survival game set in a procedurally generated open universe. Players can explore billions of unique planets, each with its own flora and fauna. This iOS release follows the game's earlier port to Mac.
The iOS version will feature redesigned touch controls, with the iPad version also supporting controllers, keyboards, and mice. Notably, the game is under 5GB in size and is compatible with iPhone 11 and iPad Air 3 or newer.
Multiplayer and settlement features will not be available at launch for the iOS version. Hello Games stated they will consider adding these functionalities in future updates based on player feedback.
