Noctua to release black NL-LC1 liquid cooler by late 2026
PC component manufacturer Noctua announced that its first integrated liquid cooler, the NL-LC1, will be available in a black "chromax.black" version by the end of 2026.

PC component manufacturer Noctua plans to release a black version of its first integrated liquid cooler, the NL-LC1, by the end of 2026. This expansion aligns with the company's "chromax.black" product line. The company currently has a "chromax.black" version of the NL-LC1 radiator and fan unit. Noctua's focus is now on developing a black version of the NL-ACF1 auxiliary fan and ensuring color consistency across all components. Noctua has historically prioritized performance and noise reduction over aesthetics, which is why they have not released reverse-blade fans, citing a lack of significant performance benefits and prioritizing functional improvements for "Noctua Edition" products. Noctua also outlined its product roadmap. The current quarter is expected to see the release of the Pulsar mouse with a built-in fan, a co-branded Wire View Pro II power supply tester, and a carbon nanotube thermal pad. For the first quarter of 2027, the company plans to introduce a 140mm desktop fan and a fan hub. The second quarter of 2027 is slated for the launch of two co-branded Seasonic power supplies, alongside new down-draft and workstation air coolers for the AM5 platform.
