Noetix Robotics pivots toward embodied AI following hardware expansion
After establishing a market for low-cost humanoid robots, Noetix is shifting focus to high-level AI research and a potential public listing.

Noetix Robotics, founded in 2023, has built its initial market presence by manufacturing humanoid robots priced at 9,998 RMB. By prioritizing mechanical motion and affordable materials, the company successfully targeted educational and consumer markets, distinguishing its hardware-first strategy from competitors focused primarily on advanced software. Founder Jiang Zheyuan noted that early development emphasized manufacturing readiness and physical stability, avoiding premature reliance on evolving AI stacks.
Under the new Scalabot sub-brand and the HERON architecture, Noetix is now integrating embodied-intelligence models to allow robots to better perceive and navigate complex environments. This transition marks a shift toward research-heavy operations that require significant capital expenditure. The company intends to leverage the revenue from its existing hardware business to fund this research, aiming to create a feedback loop where widely deployed robots generate training data.
Growth remains contingent on scaling manufacturing consistently. Having gained visibility through high-profile performances in Beijing and television appearances, the company now faces the operational hurdles of maintaining quality while increasing output. Reports indicate that Noetix has confidentially applied for a Hong Kong listing, potentially targeting a 2027 flotation to support its long-term expansion.
