Nokia and stc Launch Technology Innovation Center in Saudi Arabia
Nokia and Saudi Telecom Company (stc) have launched a new Technology Innovation Center in Riyadh. The center aims to develop new use cases annually and support Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 agenda.

Nokia and Saudi Telecom Company (stc) have initiated a collaboration to operate stc's Technology Innovation Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Through the agreement, Nokia will support stc in developing new use cases for emerging technologies such as 5G, IoT, and artificial intelligence.
The five-year project will see Nokia assist stc in developing at least four innovative use cases each year. The goal is to support stc's business objectives and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 program. stc will also join Nokia's Open Ecosystem Network, a digital collaboration platform designed to foster innovation and idea development among companies.
The collaboration will leverage Nokia's expertise across areas including 5G, Mobile Edge Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud platforms, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Nokia also aims to enhance the entrepreneurial mindset and capabilities of stc engineers to create new use cases tailored to Saudi Arabia's specific needs.
The innovation center will utilize Nokia's global experience and partner network to generate new business opportunities and improve the quality of local services. The facility will be equipped with the latest technology, focusing on facilitating idea exchange and collaboration with global experts to develop new services and products.
