Nokia discontinues joint MoCA-based offering

Nokia has informed InCoax that it will cease further investment in their joint MoCA-based offering, leading to the removal of InCoax products from Nokia's customer portfolio. The decision stems from what Nokia describes as insufficient customer interest in the collaborative solution.

MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) technology enables data transmission over coaxial cables, often used by internet service providers as a complementary or in-network solution. Nokia’s withdrawal suggests a potential market gap or a shift in strategy regarding this technology.

InCoax Networks AB is currently assessing the full implications of Nokia’s decision, including its impact on existing agreements between the two companies. The company has initiated discussions with Nokia to determine the path forward.
