Espoo, Finland – Nokia Oyj is rolling out a suite of device management solutions aimed at helping telecommunication service providers navigate the complexities of managing a rapidly expanding ecosystem of connected devices. The company states that these solutions will enable operators to not only streamline operations but also to identify and capitalize on new monetization opportunities.
As households increasingly adopt multiple digital devices, from smartphones and smartwatches to IoT home appliances, and as connectivity expands to vehicles and drones, telecommunication providers face significant challenges in managing and securing these diverse device fleets. Nokia’s portfolio addresses these issues across home, mobile, and IoT segments.
The company's Home Device Manager (HDM) platform supports TR-069 and TR-369 standards for remote management of customer premises equipment and IoT home devices, boasting over 150 deployments and managing more than 150 million devices. For the Internet of Things, the IMPACT IoT platform provides scalable device management, data collection, and analytics capabilities for large-scale networks.
Nokia's IMPACT Mobile solution focuses on secure, lifecycle management for network-connected mobile devices, currently managing over 1.8 billion devices globally. Additionally, through its iSIM Secure Connect offering, Nokia enables telecommunication providers to manage eSIM and iSIM subscriptions at scale, fostering opportunities for monetizing services tied to digital identities.
