Nokia Oyj: Network Infrastructure Achieves Growth in Q1, Infinera Acquisition Completed
Nokia Oyj reported an 11% rise in Network Infrastructure net sales for Q1 2025 and finalized the acquisition of Infinera. Overall net sales saw a 3% decline year-on-year on a constant currency and portfolio basis.

Espoo, Finland – Nokia Oyj announced its first-quarter 2025 results, highlighting strong performance in its Network Infrastructure division, which saw net sales grow by 11% on a constant currency and portfolio basis. Cloud and Network Services reported an 8% increase, while Mobile Networks grew by 2%.
The company completed its acquisition of Infinera during the quarter, enhancing Nokia's scale in Optical Networks and with hyperscalers. Integration efforts are underway, with key portfolio decisions already made. Customer engagement indicates strong order intake for Infinera's offerings.
Nokia's overall net sales decreased by 3% year-on-year after adjustments for currency and portfolio changes. This decline was partly attributed to a challenging comparison period in Nokia Technologies and a one-time contract settlement charge of EUR 120 million within Mobile Networks.
Despite the net sales dip, Nokia maintained its full-year 2025 outlook. The company anticipates a comparable operating profit between EUR 1.9 billion and EUR 2.4 billion, with a free cash flow conversion from comparable operating profit expected to be between 50% and 80%.
