Nokia reiterates financial outlook following T-Mobile network deal

Nokia announced on July 30, 2018, that it has entered into a multi-year, USD 3.5 billion agreement with T-Mobile for the deployment of its 5G network. The deal covers network construction and supply.

However, the company emphasized that the financial impact of this agreement was already factored into its Q2 and Half Year 2018 financial report, released on July 26, 2018. Therefore, the new agreement does not necessitate a revision of Nokia's previously stated financial outlook.

The agreement solidifies Nokia's position as a key supplier in the global 5G market. T-Mobile is one of the largest mobile carriers in the United States, and its investments in 5G infrastructure are crucial for the sector's advancement.
