NOMOS Glashütte introduces ice blue additions to Metro watch line
NOMOS Glashütte has expanded its Metro collection with two new models featuring ice blue dials and upgraded in-house movements.
German watchmaker NOMOS Glashütte has released new versions of its Metro model, featuring ice blue dials and updated internal components. The company aims to refresh the design language of its Metro line, which was originally developed by designer Mark Braun in 2014.
The update includes two primary variants. The first, a manual-wind model, utilizes the new DUW 4701 caliber, which offers a 52-hour power reserve and a quick-set date mechanism. The second, the Metro neomatik 41 Update, features the ultra-thin automatic DUW 6101 caliber, allowing for a 9.1-millimeter case thickness despite a 40.5-millimeter diameter.
These timepieces are constructed with electroplated, lacquered dials designed to reflect urban architectural aesthetics. The models are equipped with either Horween Shell Cordovan leather straps or gray textile straps, maintaining the brand’s focus on material quality.
The new Metro ice blue watches are currently available for purchase through authorized dealers and the company’s online store. Prices start at 4,500 USD.
