NOMOS Glashütte releases limited edition worldtimer watch

German watchmaker NOMOS Glashütte has unveiled a new, limited edition of its worldtimer watch collection. The Night Navigation series, part of the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer line, draws inspiration from nocturnal city life, aiming to appeal to globally mobile customers. The collection emphasizes international travel and managing time zone differences.

The series includes three distinct colorways: Trace, Grid, and Vector, with each watch produced in a limited run of 175 pieces. The watches feature dark dials and blue anti-reflective coated glass, reminiscent of cockpit instruments or aerial views of a metropolis at night. The color accents, including turquoise, orange, and ecru, are designed to evoke the lighting of cities after dark.

These Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer watches are powered by the DUW 3202 automatic movement, measuring a slim 4.8 millimeters in height. The movement allows for the display of 24 time zones and includes a day/night indicator. The day and night phases are color-coded, and the watches offer a water resistance of 300 meters. The collection also features a sub-second dial and manual time adjustment via a pusher.

NOMOS Glashütte is known for its in-house manufacturing capabilities, and the development of the DUW 3202 movement is part of this strategy. The company also produces its own escapement system, the NOMOS swing system. The limited worldtimer watch series is available through the company's online store and select retailers.
