NOMOS Glashütte Updates Tangente Watch with New Features and Materials
Watchmaker NOMOS Glashütte has released an updated version of its Tangente model, now available in a smaller size and for the first time in gold.
German watchmaker NOMOS Glashütte has expanded its Tangente collection with the introduction of the Tangente neomatik 38 Update. This update brings patented technology to the iconic model in a more compact size, making it accessible to a wider range of wearers.
The watch features the DUW 6101 automatic caliber, notable for its innovative ring date display. This patented system presents the date along the outer edge of the dial with a scale covering the entire month. The caliber has been specifically adapted for the 38.5-millimeter case of the Tangente neomatik 38 Update, ensuring the automatic timepiece remains slim.
The new model is offered in two stainless steel versions, including one with a forest green dial and red date markers. Additionally, the Tangente neomatik 38 Update is now available for the first time in 18-karat gold. These gold versions feature either a white or a doré (gold-toned) dial, complemented by leather straps.
NOMOS Glashütte is recognized for its minimalist design aesthetic and high manufacturing standards. The company produces its own movements in Glashütte, Germany, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering. The new Tangente models continue this tradition, offering classic elegance and practical functionality.
