Nona Source renews branding and expands deadstock material reuse

Nona Source, a platform established by luxury conglomerate LVMH, is celebrating its fifth anniversary by unveiling a new brand identity and a redesigned website. The platform specializes in the reuse and sale of surplus materials from luxury brands, such as fabrics, leathers, and yarns, to the creative industries.

Launched in 2021 through LVMH's DARE intrapreneurship program, Nona Source is the first platform dedicated to repurposing "deadstock" materials from luxury houses. It provides professionals with access to high-quality materials that would otherwise go unused, enabling new creative possibilities while reducing waste.

In five years, Nona Source has brought over 20,000 material references from more than 25 luxury Maisons back into circulation, both within and beyond the LVMH Group. The platform's client base has grown to over 2,500 customers in 50 countries. In 2025, visitor numbers increased by 30% compared to the previous year, with over 20,000 orders placed.

"In five years, Nona Source has established itself as the leader in circularity in the textile market. It is now an accelerator of the circular economy for fashion Maisons and a source of inspiring materials for young designers," said Hélène Valade, Environment Development Group Director at LVMH. The platform aims to strengthen its position as a spearhead for responsible creation.

To commemorate its anniversary, Nona Source presented "L’Appartement" in Paris, an immersive installation showcasing creations made from Nona Source materials by its clients and partners. The event highlighted the diverse applications for these materials, ranging from furniture to packaging, reinforcing Nona Source's role as an ecosystem aggregator.
