NORD Drivesystems expands production hall at Bargteheide headquarters

NORD Drivesystems has expanded its production facilities at its headquarters in Bargteheide, Germany. The company develops and manufactures drive technology and has over 50 years of experience in the sector.

The expansion at the Bargteheide site includes production, manufacturing, assembly, and service departments. The facility now spans 57,800 square meters and employs 790 staff. The company states its goal is to offer customers competent advice, shorter delivery times, and comprehensive service.

NORD provides drive solutions for more than 100 industries. Its product range includes gear units for torques from 10 Nm to 282 kNm, electric motors from 0.12 kW to 1,000 kW, and frequency inverters up to 160 kW. The manufacturer offers standard drives as well as application-specific solutions for specialized requirements, such as energy-saving or explosion-protected systems.
