NORD DRIVESYSTEMS Joins UN Global Compact
NORD DRIVESYSTEMS has officially become a signatory to the UN Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. The company commits to upholding the UN's ten principles.

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS, a manufacturer specializing in drive technology, has joined the United Nations Global Compact. This global initiative encourages businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies. With over 21,000 signatories globally and more than 940 companies in Germany participating, it stands as a significant platform for responsible corporate management.
The UN Global Compact's ten principles guide companies in areas such as human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. Signatories voluntarily commit to integrating these principles into their operations and to reporting on their progress.
NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will now actively participate in implementing and documenting measures aimed at achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). "Our sustainability efforts are a promise to our employees, customers, and the public to act in an ecologically, economically, and socially responsible manner," stated Jörg Niermann, Marketing Manager. This commitment aligns with NORD's broader sustainability strategy, which also includes CSR reporting and ISO 14.001 environmental certification.
