Bargteheide, Germany – Getriebebau NORD GmbH & Co. KG, a manufacturer of drive technology, is significantly enhancing its digital customer portal, myNORD.

The company's strategic goal is to improve the online experience for customers by making product configuration, selection, and ordering more streamlined. By transforming the myNORD portal into a full-fledged e-commerce platform, NORD aims to meet the growing customer demand for efficient and easily accessible digital channels.

Currently, approximately 10,000 users across 21 countries utilize the myNORD portal to find optimal drive solutions. The expanded platform will enable customers to independently configure and order standard products, including gear units, motors, and drive electronics. NORD has focused on creating a clear interface and intuitive navigation.

System and process optimizations are expected to deliver faster, more convenient, and efficient service. Customers will be able to find and configure new products, access product documentation, locate and order spare parts, and obtain pricing and delivery times, initially for spare parts. Users can also save custom configurations and make purchases directly from the e-shop.

The revamped portal is designed to be efficient, transparent, and available 24/7. This update is part of NORD's broader digitalization strategy to strengthen customer relationships and adapt to the evolving demands of the global industrial market.
