NORD Industrial Gear Units for Bulk Material Handling

Getriebebau NORD GmbH & Co. KG is offering its MAXXDRIVE® XT industrial gear units, suitable for driving conveyor belts within the bulk material handling industry. These gear units are engineered for robustness and high thermal load capacity, addressing the needs of heavy-duty applications.

The MAXXDRIVE® XT series features integrated high-power axial fans and housing with flow-optimized cooling ribs, eliminating the need for external cooling systems. This design ensures an optimal operating temperature for the lubricant, reducing maintenance requirements and extending the service life of the gear unit components while maintaining high load capacity.

Developed for extremely harsh environmental conditions, the gear units provide power and speed ratios specifically defined for the bulk material industry's typical requirements of low speeds and high powers. The units are manufactured in seven sizes, delivering output torques from 15 to 75 kNm and supporting powers up to 2,100 kW.

At the core of the MAXXDRIVE® XT is an application-optimized two-stage right-angle gear unit with modular mounting options for customization. On request, NORD can supply these gear units as complete solutions, integrated with heavy-duty geared motors, frequency inverters, and coupling and braking systems for comprehensive drive packages.
